Parking Space Indicator
The difficulty of finding a parking spot is a well-known issue around Jonker Street. Therefore, we came out with the idea of creating a car parking space indicator. The car parking space indicators would be able to solve the problems of tourists which is unable to find a parking, as our product allows the drivers to know the availability of the parking space. When there is a car find parking inside the parking lot, the indicator will light up in red color which means the parking spot has been taken. On the other hand, if the indicator lights up in green color means the parking spot is available and the they can park their vehicle into the designated parking spot. The lights on the car parking space indicator will also help the pedestrians to see the road easier at night as the lights use in the car parking space indicators are LED which are bright enough and cost effective.
Specification of Parking Space Indicator
- Can be used for indoors and outdoors parking
- Will be placed at the "entrance" (beside) parking space
- LED blinks RED if parking space is OCCUPIED, display GREEN indicates it is VACANT
- Product surfaced wrapped with famous heritage (famous tourist spots in Malacca)
- Made with stainless steel for durability
- "glass"/ transparent parts are made with silicon nitride
- Product can be optimised to run by solar energy (outdoors) or with wired electricity (in/outdoors)
Travel Guidance Mobile Application
The purpose of creating this mobile application is to guide and provide information to the tourists. The problems that most of the tourists faced when they traveling are, they could not really find the location of the store or shop if they are walking because google map is not really accurate when you use it while walking. Besides that, some of the tourist which have high curiosity or interest in history, they will like to know how the shop or store start up, when and how their shop or store become famous. In order for the tourists to find all of this information, they need to google search or ask the owner of the shop/store to get more detail information. By using this apps, the tourists will be able to get all of the information & history of the restaurants, cafes, bistro, stores and shops. The tourists can use this application to search for the location that they want to go. This application will recommend some famous restaurants, cafes, places to go and so on based on the tourists location. This application also provides recommended & famous restaurants, cafes, shop and places that they should visit. The users will be able to view the rating & comment for all the restaurants, cafes, bistro, shops and stores, and they can rate and comment too.
